Maths apps keep 12% of kids after a week. Puzzle games keep 60 to 70%. Numzy is a fast number puzzle: tap the numbers that fit the goal before the minute runs out. It kept 38% of players at day 7, three times the average for learning apps, and passed 1M downloads. - [Gamified Transit Platform](https://kaezee.com/work/quizt.md): A live quiz that makes the metro ride the best part of the commute. Cities spend billions on metros, and commuters still pick the cab. Quizt turns the ride into a live trivia game with mystery prizes, played in short rounds that fit any trip. In a three-month beta, cut short when COVID lockdowns stopped the rides, usage grew 64% and four in ten players brought a friend. - [AI Interpreting Assistant](https://kaezee.com/work/unicaption.md): A landing page losing half its visitors, and a product that interrupted live sessions to explain its own settings. Both rebuilt. A real-time captioning and translation tool for professional interpreters. I owned the design end to end: the conversion path, the product's information architecture and content, and the design system underneath. In August, with almost no ad spend, earned traffic was about double February's, and a tracked funnel now shows where visitors drop off, where the old page could not report a single click. - [Enterprise Marketplace Design](https://kaezee.com/work/whalelord.md): A marketplace for a seafood trade that still runs on phone calls. US seafood is bought on trust: buyers stay with the suppliers they know, because quality is hard to judge and they sell it on to their own customers. Whalelord is a B2B marketplace where checked buyers ask checked suppliers for quotes, accept one to create an order, and pay through Whalelord. We started with a verified directory to test how many of these businesses would take their buying online at all, and moved payments in once most users preferred to pay on the spot. I designed the whole product end to end, and Compass, the design system behind it. The project is ongoing, and growing slowly, as trust markets do. - [Gig Worker Fintech](https://kaezee.com/work/paisev.md): Money tools for people paid in small, uneven amounts. India had 12 million gig workers in FY25, and a fifth of its workers are casual labourers, yet every money app they are offered assumes a salary. Paisev is a concept for people paid in small, uneven amounts: it finds each payout through the bank, splits it into pots you can see the maths for, and never moves your money, like a friend who keeps count. It is speculative: built from public data and informal chats, not tested with users, and the untested parts say so. ## Optional - [Full portfolio in one file](https://kaezee.com/llms-full.txt): the profile and every case study - [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/krishnachandran-ramachandran/) - [Behance](https://www.behance.net/kaezee) - [Writing on Substack](https://substack.com/@krishnachandranramachandran)
